The Treasurer Report was read by Patti McDonald and approved by Buster McDonald and 2nd by Doug Lange

We did not have coffee, 50/50 raffle or a sign in sheet because of the Virus but we plan on continuing it when we can.

Old Business

Lake treatment was done and seems to be doing good.  PLM did a follow-up treatment after the first treatment.  The follow-up treatment was for algae.  We are going to talk to PLM to see if we can get the hanging treatment notice signs put on the lake front instead of having them stapled to the trees.  This may cost us a little extra.

We had 1,000 crappie stocked in the fall and approx 1,730 perch/bluegill this May.

We asked again for Association Members to give Patti McDonald their E-mail address.  This is how we plan to communicate with members.  If members do not have an E-mail address they can get the information from a friend, neighbor or off our community web site.

New Business

We had elections for Officers.  Paul Ganocy is now our new Vise President and all other Officers will stay the same.  Joel Woods will replace Al Scheans as a Trustee.  Congratulations Paul and Joel.

We discussed finding a closed in trailer to hold tables and chairs.  The Association voted on it and it passed.

Public comments and concerns

It was suggested that the Association got a new Microphone.  It was voted on and passed.

We have someone that volunteered to paint our West Londo Lake signs.  Thank You very much.

Meeting adjourned

Our next meeting will be Sept 5th 2020 at the Hodgins Garage at 10 a.m.

Thank you

Hello Everyone, hope all is well and everyone is staying safe. We have a pair of Loons that have returned to the Lake.

As you know we have been working on getting an email address from all of the Lake Association members so we can send out Newsletters in form of an email instead of paying for printing supplies and postage. This will be our way of communication for now on. If you have a friend or relative that lives on the lake or has a cottage on the lake and does not have an email address, please share this information with them. Information will also be put up on the Community Webpage.

Paul Ganocy is our new Webmaster and has been working hard to make sure everything is working and upto date. If you have any questions or comments that you would like to put on the Webpage you can email him at bdchad00@yahoo.com

We would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Goodrow and Mr. MacKenzie.

Fred Lewis is no longer on the Weed Control Board and Roger Houthoofd has taken his place. Joe Gretka has taken Mr. Goodrows postion. Any comments or questions in regards to the weed control can be addressed to them or Doug Lange.

As of right now, PLM is a non-essential business so we don't have a date for our lake treatment. Bree will keep in touch with us so we can coordinate a date and time to plant the fish this spring. We will be planting 930 hybrid bluegill and 800 perch. The $2,000 to plant these were approved last year. The planting of the 1,000 crappie last fall was a success. Patti McDonald sent in for the permit to plant the fish this spring already and it has been approved.

We are going to have to find someone to take over Tammy's postion for the Muskrats on the lake. She has decided that it wasn't beneficial for her time and gas.

Lake Association Dues are due and can start being paid now, they should be paid by the Mays meeting. They can be mailed to:

Patti McDonald

2637 N. Lakeview Dr

Hale, Mi 48739

Please make all checks payable to West Londo Lake Association

The fees are $10 per voting member.

All of the Lake Association meetings will be at Hodgins garage this year. The address is 8892 Burnside Ave.

The annual Spring Fling had to be cancelled per Governor's Orders but we look forward to continuing this next year. We can still plan a gathering later this summer if people would like, maybe toward end of July.

The May meeting is the 23rd pending Governor's orders.

July meeting is on the 4th and we will have a parade that day.

The Annual Hoedown will be planned for Sept. 19th at the Hodgins Garage. We will have the white elephant auction and other games.

It is an election year and we need nominations or volunteers for all the officers.

We hope all is well and we look forward to seeing everyone once orders are lifted.

Thanks
