The Pledge of Allegiance was said

Brea Grabow from PLM was present to talk to the Lake Association about weed control on our Lake and what she has to offer us.  Brea has a double Masters in Aquatic Plant Management and is a graduate of Michigan State.  She would be on the Lake pre treatment and post treatment and welcomed our Lake committee to be on the Lake while she was doing the assessment each time.  PLM services several Lakes in our area and does the Lake treatment themselves and does not subcontract the work out.  They treat the problem that is at hand and may not be treating the same problem each time they are on the Lake.  PLM will do either a 1 year contract or a multiple year contract with options to terminate if need be.

Roger Houthoofd from Long Lake is on Township board of Trustees and wanted to inform people of completion of area Roads.  if you see potholes that could damage a vehicle please give him a call at (989)  257-3136.  Our dirt roads will have another dust control treatment done in either July or August.

Treasurers report was read by Patti McDonald
