We have found someone to trap muskrats.  Her name is Tammy McGuffy.  She spoke at our meeting and explained what she will do.  She will start setting traps Nov 1st.  The amazing thing is, she is not charging us.  Thank you Tammy.

We had a memorial service at the lighthouse for Bob Burger.  It was very nice.  If anyone would like to place a memorial rock at the lighthouse, please try not to put it on top of another name rock.  We will try to make the light a little brighter.  Bob’s daughter, Debbie Everett was at our meeting and wanted to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness and generosity.

The latest news from DTE is that that may be able to bring gas to the Londo Lakes area in 2018.

Sergio Licata is trying to gather more signatures for playground equipment for our park.  Perhaps        just a swing set and a slide.  He was told the township has grant money for parks.  If he can get enough signatures it will at least show we support the idea.

As of  this meeting, Savin has still not given our second lake treatment.

Our 50/50 winner was Ken McDonald

The meeting was adjourned at 10:50 AM

We finally got the report from our 2016 fish survey.  They stated that compared to the 2001 survey, our fish population has remained about the same.  Some of the fish are smaller (pike) but in general, all are healthy.  Since 2001, our association has restocked our lake about 4 times.

We are still obligated to maintain the island for one more year.  We could plant a small cedar or willow tree or some aquatic plants or bushes. Our migratory birds use it for nesting.

Jim Goodrow has left his position on the West Londo Lake Improvement Board.  Joe Gretka has volunteered to take it.
