We finally got the report from our 2016 fish survey. They stated that compared to the 2001 survey, our fish population has remained about the same. Some of the fish are smaller (pike) but in general, all are healthy. Since 2001, our association has restocked our lake about 4 times.
We are still obligated to maintain the island for one more year. We could plant a small cedar or willow tree or some aquatic plants or bushes. Our migratory birds use it for nesting.
Jim Goodrow has left his position on the West Londo Lake Improvement Board. Joe Gretka has volunteered to take it.
We agreed to have our lighted 4th of July boat parade on Saturday July 1st. Meet at the boat launch at dusk. About 10 o’clock.
Ron Schuch will be hosting the 4th annual Water Fowlers for Wounded Warriors Poker Run on July 15.
We need someone to solve our muskrat problem. Any ideas?
Ken Cumming said he would try to get our Lake signs repaired.
Our next meeting will be on July 1st in Jim Schuchs garage at 8908 Burnside.
Our 50/50 winner was George Kosnak.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:40 AM
Respectfully submitted: Donna Gretka, Secretary
